The Town of Fort Myers Beach has promoted former Beach School Principal Traci Kohler to Deputy Town Manager. Kohler was brought on to the town’s team under former Town Manager Andy Hyatt as Assistant to the Town Manager.
New Town Manager Will McKannay said, “Dr. Kohler’s promotion reflects both her outstanding contributions and the trust the Town has in her ability to lead during a time of transformation. Her knowledge, commitment, and collaborative spirit make her an exceptional fit for this role.”
Since joining the town, Kohler has played a pivotal role in coordinating the town’s strategic documentation response to FEMA. Her leadership has been instrumental in facilitating intergovernmental communication, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving forward complex planning initiatives that will shape the Town’s long-term resiliency.
