Mike Miller was elected to serve a four-year term on the Sanibel City Council on March 2, 2021. On March 21, 2023, he was elected by his peers to serve as Vice Mayor.
Laura DeBruce was sworn in as Sanibel City Council Member on April 2, 2024 after being unopposed during the candidate qualifying period. DeBruce replaces Arlene Dillon, who began an interim term on February 6, 2024 following the resignation of Dr. Scott Crater.
Henshaw was first elected to serve a four-year term on the Sanibel City Council on March 2, 2021.
Welch has been a full-time resident on Sanibel since 2021. He served two years on the Sanibel Planning Commission, 1 year on the Sanibel School PTA and 3 years on the Sanibel School Fund.
