In the City of Sanibel’s efforts to control costs, the City will continue to use its 2016 series pass. Used after an evacuation, the passes aid security, speed reentry, and provide traffic control at a time when the City must keep traffic to a minimum.
Owners and residents who have not been issued a 2016 pass should get one now, not when a storm hits. The pass program requires a short application and specific documentation.
