Shuckers at the Gulfshore and The Cottage Bar hosted a fundraiser for Fort Myers Beach first responders this past Saturday during The Cottage Revitalization Celebration.
$3,700 was raised for the local first responders who were on hand showing off their fire truck and talking to members of the community about what they do.
Kids were entertained on a very hot day with a giant water slide. There was also donated hot dogs and hambergers from USFood that helped with the donations.
The Cottage is about to go through a major renovation and upgrade according to the owners.
