St. Raphael’s Church will begin the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday services on March 5th. A traditional Ash Wednesday service will also be held at noon in the parish hall at 5601 Williams Drive.
For those unable to attend the noon service, St. Raphael’s will offer ‘Ashes to Go’ at 2001 Estero Blvd (TriPower Realty, across from DiamondHead Resort). This provides a convenient way for individuals to receive ashes and a blessing as they go about their day.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter. St. Raphael’s welcomes all who wish to participate in this meaningful tradition.
