The County Canvassing Board for the Town of Fort Myers Beach special recall election will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 22nd at the Lee County Elections main office to oversee the Logic and Accuracy Test of the voting and tabulating equipment and to canvass the vote-by-mail ballots received to date for the election.
The canvassing board meeting and testing are open to the public and will take place at the Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex, 2480 Thompson St., third floor, Fort Myers.
In accordance with state law, the Logic and Accuracy Test will be conducted to ensure ballots are printed correctly and that the voting system is counting votes accurately.
