McLean received four out of five votes from the Town Council Monday with Ed Schoonover received the other. McLean will fill the spot left open when Scott Safford was appointed to an open seat on the Town Council. McLean’s first LPA meeting is March 12th.
McLean commented to Beach Talk Radio News: “I am extremely pleased and proud to have been appointed to the LPA during this critical time of our rebuilding. I will do my best to evaluate all aspects of the proposals that come before us and faithfully represent our community.”
There were two other residents hoping to fill the seat in addition to McLean and Schoonover, Hibiscus Street resident Debi Szekely and Jefferson Street resident Sal Pedone.
