Despite COVID-19, Jim and Sharon Jamieson’s Spirit of Christmas Foundation raised approximately $20,000 this year. The money was used to give 250 children a better Christmas. The annual auction to raise money for the kids had to be held online this year.
100 familes were taken to the local Wal-Mart so they could shop for toys and clothes for Christmas.
Jamieson said the shopping day at Wal-Mart had a lot of tears, limited hugs and many smiles. In the last 17 years about 4000 children were given a better Christmas thanks to The Jamieson’s and The Spirit of Christmas Foundation.
