The Town of Fort Myers Beach will welcome the community back to the Bay Oaks Recreation Center with a Grand Re-Opening Celebration Wednesday, October 15th from 5PM to 7PM.
After a partial re-opening in August 2025, following recovery efforts from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Bay Oaks is now fully open. The celebration on the 15th will highlight the center’s renovations, new amenities, and future programming.
Here’s what the town has planned on the 15th:
- Guided tours of the renovated weight room
- Opportunities to learn about upcoming programs and activities
- Meet-and-greet sessions with instructors and staff
- Community information tables with local resources and ways to get involved
- Complimentary light refreshments
