For nearly 6 decades VFW Post 10097 Fort Myers Beach has been a home for veterans, their families, and our community. Without a doubt, it’s a beacon of service and sacrifice.
Today, the VFW is facing a challenge they cannot overcome alone, nor should we leave them to do so. They are roughly $50,000 in the red thanks to the recent hurricanes. They are behind on their bills and constantly deal with broken equipment. They are also to a place where they have to deny services, according to FOX4.
These are men and women that have put their country first, no matter the cost or sacrifice. Please consider donating to help keep the doors to the VFW open. DONATE HERE.

Have they changed their policy about being a member to eat there? We went few year back trying to eat there was told we couldn’t for Not being a member . If you want support let anyone to eat .
carol, $50 grand is mostly for unpaid bills. they cannot depend on fundraising alone, to much time involved. while that is good idea, they need an influx
Don’t they have someone there that can organize some fund raisers? On Veterans Day have a poker run, 5K run, pig roast, there are plenty of events that could raise money?
