Whale Anniversary Party This Month

Mike and Dawn Miller, the owners of The Whale on Fort Myers Beach, have announced June 17th will their one-year anniversary party. The Whale was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The Miller’s plan to rebuild the popular restaurant and are now working through the permit phase with the town of Fort Myers Beach.

The Staff from The Whale have been serving food from a food truck and alcoholic beverages from their property on Estero Boulevard which has been fenced in following the final demolition of the old building.

Here’s a schedule of events for that entire weekend:
June 15th (Open 5P to 9P) Steve Farst performs from 6P to 9P
June 16th (Open 4P to 11P) Side Show Bob performs from 6P to 9P.
June 17th (Open 12P to 11pm) DJ from Noon to 6pm and Real Deal Dueling Pianos from 7PM to 10PM. Cornhole and Jenga tournaments. Contests, prizes and giveaways. Including Key West Express tickets and Naples Princess Sunset/Dinner Cruise.

The Miller’s purchased The Whale from the owners of Doc Ford’s several months before Hurricane Ian destroyed the building. They had plans to make major upgrades to the restaurant with is just a few hundred feet from the new Margaritaville resort.
