The Great American Cleanup, organized locally by Keep Lee County Beautiful, brought together hundreds of volunteers, in 14 locations, and collected 6,840 pounds of litter and debris from beaches, parks, roadways, neighborhoods, and waterways.
“At Keep Lee County Beautiful, we believe that strong communities begin with a deep connection to the places we call home,” said Trish Fancher, Executive Director. “The Great American Cleanup shows how powerful it can be when people unite with a shared purpose—to protect, preserve, and take pride in our environment.”
