St. Raphael’s continues to make steady progress in their rebuilding efforts. For nearly a year, they’ve been gathering for worship in their parish hall. The rectory has been fully renovated and is now ready for a year-round tenant.
The kitchen and office areas are nearly complete and will soon be fully operational. They are hopeful that worship in the church will resume this fall.
The church is currently seeking a part-time office manager and are also looking to rent their three-bedroom, two-bath home on Williams Drive.
They also released a full calendar of events for the upcoming season:
- November 8 – A celebration for the grand opening of their new kitchen with a special shrimp dinner, featuring live entertainment by The Gold Tones.
- Monthly Shrimp Dinners – The popular all-you-can-eat shrimp dinners will return on the second Saturday of each month, from November through April.
- January 31 – Performer Jimmy Keys returns for an evening of music and laughter.
- February 28 – Enjoy a classic night out with The Rat Pack Tribute Show.
