(By Elianne Onoz of Access Title) At Access Title Agency, we believe that our responsibility extends beyond the realm of real estate transactions. As a small business on the island, we have always been deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years.

When Hurricane Ian struck and left a trail of devastation, we knew we had to act. In a heartfelt effort to support our fellow islanders, we recently visited FMB Strong, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing urgently needed resources to individuals most impacted by the hurricane. This visit allowed us to witness the tremendous impact of Hurricane Ian and understand the ongoing needs and challenges faced by the community, even nearly one year later.

At Access Title Agency, corporate social responsibility is not just a catchphrase; it is at the core of our values. We firmly believe that we have a duty to contribute to the welfare of our community and assist those in need during challenging times. Hurricane Ian’s destructive force left many of our neighbors in dire straits, and we knew we couldn’t stand idly by. Our commitment to supporting FMB Strong’s mission was a natural extension of our beliefs, and we were eager to get involved.

Stepping into the FMB Strong donation facility at 820 Buttonwood Drive, we were immediately struck by the dedication and compassion of the volunteers. Their tireless efforts to search, sort, organize, and distribute physical donations were nothing short of inspiring. Meeting with the volunteers and listening to their stories of resilience, hope, and the ongoing struggles of the community left a profound impact on our team.

Through candid conversations with the volunteers and those who have sought assistance from FMB Strong, we gained a firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by our fellow islanders. The road to recovery post-Hurricane Ian has not been an easy one, and the needs are still as pressing as ever, even after almost a year.

The visit to FMB Strong reaffirmed our determination to support the ongoing relief efforts. In addition to the donations we brought during the visit, we have pledged continued support to assist FMB Strong in their endeavors.

Furthermore, we are eager to raise awareness among our business partners, clients, and the broader community about FMB Strong’s work. By fostering a spirit of unity and solidarity, we hope to encourage more people and businesses to come forward and support the noble cause of hurricane relief and recovery.

At Access Title Agency, we firmly believe that together, we can make a difference. Our visit to FMB Strong was a reminder of the strength that arises when a community comes together to support one another. As a small business on the island, we are proud to stand side by side with FMB Strong, offering our unwavering support to help rebuild lives and communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. As we move forward, we remain committed to our corporate social responsibility, continuously striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by natural disasters.

We ask for your support, and we urgently ask for your assistance to provide essential resources for those in need. Currently, the residents are facing severe shortages of fresh water, toiletries, cleaning supplies, furniture, canned food, and more. Your generous donations can make a significant impact in alleviating their struggles and restoring a sense of comfort and stability in their lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping those affected by this challenging situation. Together, we can make a difference and stand strong in support of our community. Please consider lending a helping hand to FMB Strong 820 Buttonwood.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
