The 2024 Beach Talk Radio show at the Fox River Brewing Company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin raised $6,355 for the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. Several hundred people came out to watch the show and donate to a beloved organization on Fort Myers Beach.
Here’s how the money was raised:
– The owners of Fox River Brewing donated 15% of their sales from the day of our Wisconsin show, plus proceeds from Dumbassery Ale hats and shirts. That total was $2,995
– Proceeds from Beach Talk Radio selling Dumbassery Ale hats and shirts totaled $1,550.
– On show day in Wisconsin we collected $1,310 from our prize raffle and a $500 check was donated during the show.
The total raised for the Art Association was $6,355
The money will be turned over to Art Association Treasurer Sheri Fischer during our show at Margaritaville tomorrow.
Kim and I would like to thank the following people and businesses for making our Wisconsin trip a smashing success.
Heidi, Jay, John and Doreen Supple from the Fox River Brewing Company for making this event happen. Not only did they donate proceeds from food and beverage sales from the day and create hats and shirts, they also created a special Dumbassery Ale beer they sold on draft and by the 6-pack.
