The Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve is hosting a wading trip Thursday, July 11th from 9-11AM. Prepare yourself to explore the shallow waters teeming with wildlife. This event is perfect for nature enthusiasts looking to get up close and personal with the beauty of the bay.
Dip nets and seine nets will be provided for participants to collect organisms such as fish, shrimp, crabs, and snails, which will be placed in buckets or magnifiers so that everyone can take a closer look, and learn how each living creature plays an important role in the ecosystem.
Closed toe shoes will be required to participate.
