Our epic and unique Flag Day event is tomorrow. Tonight, 4PM to 5PM we’ll be handing out American Flags to anyone who wants to help us plant the flags up and down Estero Boulevard. Look for the bright yellow Beach Talk Radio baby truck in the DiamondHead parking lot.
We still need your help getting enough flags to make this happen. Volunteers will be lining both sides of Estero Boulevard from Bowditch Beach Park to The Big Carlos Pass Bridge with American Flags on Saturday, June 14th. We’re meeting at 6AM. E-mail edryan@beachtalkradio.com if you would like to volunteer to help us finish the job Saturday morning.
Not only is June 14th Flag Day, it’s the 250th birthday of the United States Army, the greatest Army on planet earth.
There will also be a short ceremony in Times Square at 9AM with several speakers who served in the Army which will be followed by the raising of the Lynn Hall Park flag.
You all can help make this a spectacular one-of-a-kind patriotic event on Fort Myers Beach.
What a nice flag day for Fort Myers Beach residents and guests! Estero Boulevard looks great. May the Good Lord continue to bless the United States!
TDS much??
Only celebrating the 250th birthday of the Army please…no politics please!
Amen
Please make sure that the only birthday being celebrated is that of the United States Army!!!!!
