Calusa Waterkeeper is hostin its 3rd Annual “Taps Flow for H2O” on Saturday, August 8, beginning at noon at Swamp Cat Brewery on Fowler Street in Fort Myers. The event includes craft beer, live music, games, giveaways and fundraising to support Calusa Waterkeeper’s work for drinkable, fishable and swimmable waters across Southwest Florida.
This year, Taps Flow for H2O will be centered around an all day celebration at Swamp Cat Brewery. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the 2026 Calusa Crusader collaboration brew, created in partnership with Swamp Cat Brewery and Coastal Dayz Brewery, while connecting with Calusa Waterkeeper staff, volunteers and supporters. The event is designed to make clean-water advocacy approachable, social and rooted in the community.
“Taps Flow for H2O gives people an easy and enjoyable way to stand up for the waters that define Southwest Florida,” said Jennifer Walker, Fundraising and Donor Relations Director for Calusa Waterkeeper. “Every conversation, contribution and new connection made at this event helps strengthen the community behind our mission.”
Held during National Water Quality Month, Taps Flow for H2O highlights the connection between healthy waterways and Southwest Florida’s quality of life, local economy and future. Funds raised through the event will help Calusa Waterkeeper continue independent water monitoring, volunteer engagement, education, outreach and advocacy throughout the Caloosahatchee watershed and surrounding coastal communities.
“Our waterways affect nearly every part of life in this region, from public health and wildlife to tourism and property values,” Walker added. “Taps Flow is a celebration, but it is also a reminder that protecting water requires informed, consistent community action.”
Community members, local businesses and clean-water supporters are encouraged to attend, raise a glass and learn more about ways to support Calusa Waterkeeper throughout the year. Additional event updates will be shared at calusawaterkeeper.org and through Calusa Waterkeeper’s social media channels. There is no charge to attend this event thanks in part to these generous sponsors: Suncoast Beverage Sales, Corona Beer, Swamp Cat Brewing Co., and Chubby Mermaid Brewing Company.
