St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church is inviting the entire community to bring their pets for a special Blessing of the Pets on Saturday at 10:00 AM at 5601 Williams Drive on Fort Myers Beach.
All creatures great and small—dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more—are welcome to receive a blessing. Guests may bring pets on leashes or in carriers, or even bring a photo of a pet if the pet is unable to attend.
Members of the community are invited to bring their pets for an individual blessing in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. All pets are welcome, and refreshments will be served following the blessing.
The Blessing of the Pets is part of St. Raphael’s mission to be “A Healing Presence by the Sea,” bringing together the community in gratitude and celebration.
Ellie Bunting and Jackie Sarullo will be on Beach Talk Radio this Saturday at 10AM to talk about the pet blessings. We are back live from the Margaritaville terrace.
