People want to be on Fort Myers Beach. Last Friday many locals weathered the blustery chill at Times Square to see “Light Up Times Square” presented by Barefoot Events Group and Twilight Features.
Times Square came to life with a special synchronized Christmas light, music and video show.
Barefoot Events Group CEO Janeen Paulauskis said the entire event was put together in under a week. “We were so excited to see so many friends and happy faces! Grateful for team “Light Up Times Square” – Anita Cereceda, Tanya Kaish Keller, Mayor Dan Allers, the Town of Fort Myers Beach, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Fort Myers Beach Fire District, La Ola Surfside Restaurant, Terry Persaud. Nick Toutoungi of Twilight Features’ incredible donation put smiles on faces young and old; made Times Square bright and merry; and reminded everyone how resilient the Fort Myers Beach community continues to be when times are tough.”
