Parking passes for Fort Myers Beach residents and business owners are now available. The cost is $25 for residents and $50 for business owners.
Residents who need a new parking pass can come to the temporary Town Hall temporary complex at 2545 Estero Boulevard Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Prior year’s passes will continue to be honored.
A driver’s license is required along with a valid vehicle registration and current proof of property ownership such as a utility or tax bill. A one-year residential lease for a property within the Town of Fort Myers Beach is required for renters.
A limited amount of parking has been restored in the Town at the $5 per hour fee though the two-hour limit has been waived. Parking locations are:
– Under the Matanzas Pass Bridge in lots 1-4;
– In the Downtown area including Old San Carlos Boulevard, Center Street, and Estero Boulevard;
– In the parking lot at the Waistina Way beach access on Estero Boulevard south of Crescent Street.
Please do not park on someone’s private property, even if their home is no longer in their lot. Homeowners have been advised to call a towing company to remove cars parked on their private property.
Driving and parking on the beach, even if you see a wide opening, is NOT ALLOWED.
If you do not pay for parking in a private lot or pay for parking in a town metered lot chances are you are parking in an unauthorized spot and risk being ticketed or towed.
