Businesses down Old San Carlos continue to open back up. The latest to open its doors to visitors is the Matanzas Inn, which has a limited number of rooms available.
The Matanzas Inn building, like so many on the island, was hit extremely hard by Hurricane Ian on September 28th. Since that day the owners have been working hard to open back up for business.
Amenities are limited for now. According to Jodie Perrin, who works at Matanzas, Petey’s Upper Deck should be open by April and pizza will be available soon.
Matanzas Inn has been on Fort Myers Beach for over 38 years.
