Keran Farrell has officially filed to run for the Fort Myers Beach Fire District. Farrell is running for seat 4, which is now occupied by Larry Wood. Wood is not running for reelection.
District 2 Commissioner Ron Fleming holds the other seat up for election in 2024. Fleming is running for reelection.
There are 5 seats on the Fire Board.The other 3 are up in 2026. Terms are 4 years. While the 5 members are assigned district numbers, they all serve at-large. They do have to pick which seat they’d like to run for.
