The Fort Myers Beach Art Association celebrated a big birthday on Saturday, their 75 year Anniversary. Highlights of the celebration included a special “Mini Masters” show of small original matted paintings (with proceeds benefiting FMBAA), a members’ artwork exhibition, live acoustic music by the band Key West X‑Press, door prizes, refreshments and plenty of opportunity to meet the artists.
Located in the heart of Fort Myers, the new gallery offers expanded exhibition space, a large classroom, and modern amenities to support the association’s growing programs in art education and community outreach. The gallery’s location in the Cypress Square shopping center honors old Florida coastal living while providing a contemporary and welcoming space for artists and visitors alike.
