Why does the new proposed women’s club need to be so big? How often are events held that fill the space? With building cost at $500-$700 a sq ft. size matters.

Thank you for your interest in our rebuild and its size.
As you may know, the Woman’s Club was also used as an affordable event space for many, prior to Hurricane Ian. With a wedding reception just 4 day before. We, also hosted Condo Association Meetings, Baby Showers and fundraisers (ours and other nonprofits). We intend to offer that again with our Community Room, where this mosaic wall will be displayed.
We’ve also added affordable space, available to our many nonprofits that don’t have a “home” on Fort Myers Beach.
