It’s called the King of Diamonds Casino Night and the 2026 event is this Saturday. This year’s big fundraiser, sponsored by Alex King and the King Family Foundation, will be held at Margaritaville Beach Resort.

Last year the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation raised just over $100,000 in a variety of fundraisers, all of which was returned to organizations in the Fort Myers Beach community working to improve the quality of life on the beach.
Recipients of Community Foundation funding included the Estero Island Historic Society, FMB MERTF, Friends of Matanzas Pass, FMB Art Association, Bay Oaks, Keep Lee County Beautiful, FMB Strong and the Beach Kids Foundation.
Sounds like an amazing event for a great cause! We will be there supporting this group and having fun doing it!

The FMB Community Foundation donated the funds for the new bike racks at the FMB Public Library too! Two herons and the letters R-E-A-D. Beautiful and unique bike racks.
