While authorities had Estero Boulevard blocked off for the traffic death investigation, another vehicle drove through the area.
Fort Myers Beach resident Denise Karda was arrested, charged with driving drunk, and sent to the Lee County Jail.
Karda is scheduled to be arraigned before Lee County Judge Archie Hayward on Monday, February 14th at 8AM.
