The Mother of All Raffles For The VFW
By now you’ve probably heard that we’re raising money to help the Fort Myers Beach VFW from closing its doors. They are in need of $50,000 to pay storm-related bills and a very generous Fort Myers Beach resident is willing to match anything we raise up to $25,000. As of Tuesday we've raised $8,590.

Myerside Will Not Break Ground For At least 1 More Year
The project was originally approved by the Town Council in June of 2024. Owner Beverly Milligan tells Beach Talk Radio News that she’s hoping for final approval of the Development Order by the end of this year, then it’ll be another 10 months of design and permitting.
Specialized Beach Wheelchair Now Avaialbe
The Town of Fort Myers Beach has announced that a specialized beach wheelchair is now available for loan to residents and visitors. The wheelchair is designed for use on sand, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to enjoy the beach.
LPA Approves New Times Square Building
Property owner Carlos Chavez took the first major step to building back the first new structure in Times Square. The LPA unanimously approved Chavez’ 3-story structure which will include a mobile ice cream unit on the ground floor.

Second Light Goes Live Today
The Florida Department of Transportation announed Monday that at 9:30AM the new light at the base of the bridge before heading over to Fort Myers Beach will go live.
