How long must be be represented by a town council who is joined at the hip to Beach Talk Radio. Do we not have a Public Relations Officer to distribute information? Enough already. Good interview guys, I’m now certain that my vote for property tax relief is the way to go. While some fees will go up, it will hopefully force Lee County to cut some bloat. Thank you to Mr. Ruane for sitting on the hot seat and answering some tough questions. However, I am dumbfounded that he thought it was a good idea to go from a 4% raise for county employees to a 5% raise, then says if the tax relief passes, he would potentially cut 1/3 of the staff. Why not have kept the 4% raise so you could keep more staff if tax relief passes?
