While the kids on the beach wait for their school to be repaired and reopened, they are gearing up for another school year. This past Saturday at The Liki Tiki beach kids picked up backpacks and supplies which were donated by the community.
Any Beach Elementary students that missed out on getting backpacks this past Saturday
should attend the School Open House event on August 7 at San Carlos Elementary from 4:30-6pm. Students will also get a $50 gift card and a lunchbox in addition to a backpack and a full set of supplies for their grade.
If there are any students in middle school or high school (that meet the 33931 qualification) that need a backpack and basic supplies, they should contact the Beach Kids Foundation who will help.
