On Thursday the Lee County Tourist Development Council reported that resort tax revenue collected for November 2020 was $2.32 Million, a 14% decline from November 2019 ($2.7 million). In October 2020 $2.167 million was collected. Year-to-date, the total of $4.6 million is a decrease of 7.5% from 2019. (The TDC fiscal year begins in October).

During November 2020, 500,468 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport, a decrease of 42.9% compared to November 2019. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is down 41.7% from the same period last year.
