The 2026 Suds and Sands Beerfest at Bay Oaks this passed Saturday raised nearly $20,000 for the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club. The money will go toward the organization’s capital campaign to rebuild their new building
Beerfest Committee Chair Megan Allers said the event went off without a hitch and the weather was perfect. “We are thrilled the rain held out and gave Fort Myers Beach a beautiful day for the 1st Annual Sand and Suds Beerfest. We had 13 brewer booths of ice cold suds and seltzers, so there was something for everyone! A special congrats to our People’s Choice Brewery Resurgence Brewing! Our VIPS enjoyed a giant pretzel table and fun swag bags, while Briz and Lady kept everyone entertained all day! I’d like to give a huge shout out to the Sand and Suds committee, they really dove in and provided a fun day for FMB. I’d also like to thank our sponsors for all of their support.”
