Lovers Key Gala Raises $290,000
Last Saturday night the Lovers Key Gala and Auction hauled in $290,000 for The Friends of Lovers Key. The funds will be used to support the Lovers Key park rangers, educational programming, summer camp scholarships for disadvantaged kids and the sustainability of the park.

Lacy Takes Captiva
The Captiva Civic Association is hosting artist Lacy McClary this Monday for Kaleidoscope Mind: A Rose-Colored Spectacle. Lacy will share how her 18 years on the islands have inspired her work. Lacy was one of two artists that repainted the tower in Times Square.
Aquarium Reopening Friday
The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium on Sanibel is re-opening its Living Gallery of Aquariums Friday. The aquariums will house a mix of mollusks, corals, fish, and other marine life species as they did pre-hurricane.
Another Beach Ribbon Cutting Today
Cruisin' Tikis will host a ribbon cutting on Fort Myers Beach this morning at 10:15. The ceremony will be held at 450 Harbor Court (Moss Marina) and is open to the public. Cruisin' Tikis is open for reservations. Check them out HERE.
