They are still not yet officially open for business, however, Annette Stillson is hosting an Open House Saturday from 10AM to 3PM for everyone who helped her clean out her unit to get ready for the big Grand reopening. The Book Nook is located in the Santini Plaza.

State Senator Jonathan Martin joins Beach Talk Radio this Sunday at 10AM at Wahoo Willie's. Martin, who’s running for another term, joins the show before Mayor Dan Allers makes his weekly appearance. Martin represents Senate district 33 which includes Fort Myers Beach.

Town: Do Not Dump Garbage Illegally

The Town of Fort Myers Beach is reminding residents that dumping debris, not at a legal drop-off site, is illegal. The Town has mobilized Crowder Gulf, and FEMA monitor, Tetra Tech for Milton debris pickup. They will collect four types of storm debris that need to be in separate piles.

Book Nook Opening Delayed Again

Annette Stillson was so close to reopening her Book Nook location in Santini Plaza. Hurricane Milton delayed her opening for another week or two. Annette tells us she got about 2 inches of water from the storm which left her with a mess to muck out.
