Beach Losing One Polling Place

According to Lee County Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle, starting this November, Fort Myers Beach will go from three polling places to two. St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church will no longer be a beach polling place.

Twins Stadium Phased Out For COVID Testing

The Lee County Sports Complex testing site will be phased out by Monday, Feb. 14, as the county and Twins prepare for spring training. However, as it stands now, there will be no baseball.

Library Hosting After Hours

While the steps to the fishing pier under the Matanzas Pass Bridge are already gone, there's still a chance the pier can be saved. The state was in the process of removing the fishing pier after the town decided it would not take over the maintenance of the pier. However, that may change.
