Florida COVID Cases Lowest Since June

Florida health officials say there were fewer than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases between Sunday and Monday. There were 738 cases in the state on Monday. You have to go back to early June to find a day with less than 1,000 reported cases.

Mound House Opening Back Up

As of October the 6th The Mound House on Fort Myers Beach will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9AM to 4PM. The facility has been closed due to COVID-19.

Free Masks and Hand Sanitizer on Sanibel

The City of Sanibel received an allotment of COVID Personal Protective Equipment from Lee County and is distributing the items Wednesday and Thursday. From 11A-5P hand sanitizer and masks will be given out at The Community House (2173 Periwinkle Way) via drive-thru, contactless pickup.
