                    The County Canvassing Board for the Town of Fort Myers Beach special recall election will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 22nd at the Lee County Elections main office.                
            Specialized Beach Wheelchair Now Avaialbe
                    The Town of Fort Myers Beach has announced that a specialized beach wheelchair is now available for loan to residents and visitors. The wheelchair is designed for use on sand, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to enjoy the beach.

                    As instructed, Councilman John King’s attorney Morgan Bentley has filed an order to have John King’s recall petition tossed off the ballot. The order is based on the direction of Judge Kyle Cohen for Bentley to focus on the 3rd accusation against King.

                    The Florida Department of Transportation announed Monday that at 9:30AM the new light at the base of the bridge before heading over to Fort Myers Beach will go live.
