HM Restaurant Group has signed on as a $10,000 gold-level sponsor of the ROAR Offshore Powerboat Races September 11th through the 13th. Bonita Fish Company will be hosting several events featuring powerboats and racing teams.
The 2026 event marks its comeback after a five-year hiatus due to Hurricane Ian.
Free and open to the public, the event will feature the elite offshore boats docked for the evening at The Marina at Bonita Fish Company, along with live entertainment. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet national and international racing teams. The event takes place Friday, Sept. 11, from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
“There’s a lot of excitement around the return of ROAR Offshore, and we’re glad to be part of it,” said Joe Harrity, a partner with HM Restaurant Group, which manages Bonita Fish Company. “Events like this bring tremendous energy to Fort Myers Beach, support local businesses and give residents and visitors another reason to experience the island.”
The race includes qualifying heats on Friday and Saturday and the championship on Sunday at 1 p.m.
