The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce Water Foundation Board announced their Fall 2025 ROSE Grant award recipients. The grants were given to the FGCU Vestor Field station for the “What’s in the Water program” that has been running out of Mound House every spring and fall, and The Mound House for the maintenance equipment for the Water Monitoring station on the back bay dock.
The ROSE (Research, Outreach, Stewardship, and Education) Program provides grants of up to $5,000 to support projects taking place on or around Estero Island that enhance the health, understanding, and care of our local waters.Â
The competitive grants are awarded twice each year to applicants whose proposed projects best demonstrate measurable benefits to the residents and visitors of Fort Myers Beach—whether by advancing scientific knowledge, increasing public awareness of water quality, or developing meaningful education and outreach initiatives.
2026 proposals are now being accepted. Details for the submittal can be obtained by emailing info@fmbchamber.com.
