On Saturday January 28th at 8:00, the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation is organizing a cleanup on the section of the beach they’ve adopted, the beach around Dakota Avenue.
Volunteers can park at the movie theater or across the street at the Gulf View Manor. Gulfview Manor will be where everyone meets before the cleanup begins .
The Community Foundation will provide trash bags, surgical gloves and water. You may want to bring your own garbage grabber, sun screen, and heavier gloves such as garden gloves. Make sure to wear closed shoes, it may not be safe for sandals.
