The Fort Myers Beach Anchorage Advisory Committee and Marine Operations Team are hosting a celebration for boaters who use the Matanzas Pass Mooring Field. The public is invited to attend the event at Bayside Park this Sunday at 1PM.
Cruisers’ Appreciation Day had been an annual event held under the bridge near Matanzas Inn. The last time is was held was in 2022, before Hurricane Ian. 2025 will be the 14th year the event has been held.
A meal ticket can be purchased by the general public for $25.00 which is being provided for the event by Snug Harbor. You can pick up a ticket at the Anchorage registration table at Bayside Park, then you take the ticket and pay for the meal at Snug Harbor. When you get your meal ticket it allows you to buy one of 4 meals from Snug between 11AM and 3:30PM. The $25 covers the meal, a soft drink, as well as tax and tip.
The event will lead into another Sunday night of music at the park with Riverside and feature a slew of water related non-profits passing out vital information including:

1 pm – Event officially starts
1:45 pm – Introduction of Mooring Field boaters
2 pm – Introductions of nonprofits – their mission, how you can help.
3 pm – Drawings
3:30 pm – Event ends
4 pm – Riverside takes the stage
