Another ground breaking event was held on Fort Myers Beach Monday. Access 26 Food Truck Park is expected to be open later this year. The Fort Myers Beach Town Council approved the project over a year ago.
Watch our LIVE broadcast of the ground breaking ceremony on our YouTube channel HERE.
The plan is to have 5 food truck pads, outdoor seating including right on Estero Boulevard, bike racks, restrooms open to the public during operating business hours (including showers), a paid parking lot with 45 spaces open to the public during operating business hours, a 3000 square foot 2-floor main building that serves beer and wine on the first floor with offices and storage on the 2nd floor. Live music will be in the main open structure which has three sides and faces Estero Boulevard to try to deflect the sound from the neighbors as much as possible.
The approval comes with several conditions, the biggest involved the music. Myers agreed to limit amplified live music to 3 days per week, with only a solo or duo act, for up to four hours per day between the hours of Noon and 8PM. There is no restriction on ambient background music. On a 4th day Myers can have other types of entertainment such as bingo or karoke.

Hoping the south end residents and guests can find their way, since there is no food places at the south end. LOL Come on, I just put this in, it is only 3 miles from my house. Everyone on the south end thinks we can’t walk, or ride a bike to get anywhere, south end people must get in their car and sit in traffic. Give me a break, be healthy – walk or ride a bike and enjoy your self it will be a new place to go. We don’t need to wait until London Bay to go out and eat – which is going to take years and years until they sell enough condos to even begin thinking about starting to obtain a permit for the restaurant. By the time London Bay project is complete, there will be so many restaurants in the area no one will care if there is a restaurant at London Bay.
Omg. Give a location!
(Beach) Access 26…same as the name.
Also shows in the picture 2500 Estero Blvd. I know, reading is hard…
