The owners of the former Hammerhead Gym on Fort Myers Beach have returned to the island to teach fitness classes three days a week. Hammerhead, which was located next to the 7-11 on Estero Boulevard, was totally destroyed by Hurricane Ian.
Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 in The Rude Shrimp parking lot on the Moss Marina property. Classes are $8 and drop-ins are welcome
Armand & Sarah McCormick are the owners of Hammerhead. They have a location by the Publix off of Summerlin on the way to Sanibel (20291 Summerlin Rd #101, Fort Myers, FL 33908) and a second location in Cape Coral they recently opened. They also have a rental property on the beach and are trying to figure out a plan to get the gym back opened the island.
So happy to hear they are going to try to come back to FMB. Keeping fingers crossed it works out. Loved Hammerhead!
