The public is invited to have coffee and conversation with the U.S. Coast Guard and Auxiliary today as part of National Safe Boating Week at the Sunflower Café.
Coast Guard and Auxiliary reps will answer questions about search and rescue, missions, facilities, training, and capabilities.
National Safe Boating Week runs from May 20th through May 26th and promotes safe boating practices and the importance of wearing life jackets while boating.
