Haskin has No Party Affilation. There are 3 Democrats running, 10 Republicans, and one write-in, in addition to Haskin. The Primary is August 18th. Most believe whichever Republican takes the Primary will win the seat in November.
Haskin tells Beach Talk Radio he decided to run for Congress because he believes the country needs a government that is more accountable, more constitutional, and more responsive to the people it serves. “My campaign is focused on fighting corruption, reducing unnecessary concentrations of federal power, and restoring the constitutional principles of limited government, federalism, and representative self-government.”
