More than 25 local businesses on Sanibel are joining forces for a community event this Saturday for Small Business Saturday. It’s called Shop, Dine & Shine on Sanibel.
The island-wide celebration invites residents from Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, and the surrounding communities to come experience the magic of Sanibel, support local entrepreneurs, and stay for the beloved Sanibel Island Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. and its festivities scheduled at the Sanibel Community Park.
Each participating business will bring its own unique touch to the day, from holiday bites and punches, in-store raffles, free gifts with purchases, special surprises, and festive holiday décor, creating an uplifting and joyful experience throughout the island’s shopping plazas.

The organizing businesses have created a “Support Local, Win Big!” raffle that rewards shoppers simply for supporting the island’s independently owned businesses. Every purchase made at any participating business on Small Business Saturday equals one raffle entry — no minimum purchase amount required. The more shops visitors explore, the more chances they have to win.
Grand Prize Package Includes:
• A two-night stay at the historic Tarpon Tale Inn
• Winner’s choice of a two-day Moke rental OR golf cart rental courtesy of the Moke & Cabana Club
• Gift cards, gifts, and merchandise from participating Sanibel businesses
In addition to the grand prize, shoppers will also have opportunities to win multiple smaller prize packages, donated by island retailers and restaurants.
Stay into the evening for the Sanibel Island Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m., where the community will gather under the glow of holiday lights to usher in the season together.
