On October 10th, the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club is hosting the 1st Suds & Sands Beerfest at Bay Oaks. During the event 6 hand-painted tables will be auctioned off to raise money. Here are all the details.
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association team has been working hard during the summer to come up with a specific design for each table and will be hand painting the tables during the month of September. They’ll be using specific paint that will hold up in the hot Florida sun and a heavy top-coat to protect them from the elements.
Here are the details about the tables:

6 Hand Painted Wood Tables will be up for Silent Auction during the event

Tables will be displayed throughout the event grounds to be enjoyed during the event while silent auction is live.

They will highlight the artists for each table with the auction information
Star Sherwood from the Fort Myers Beach Art Association said, “The FMBAA is honored to be a part of the Sand & Suds Beerfest fundraising event. We love partnering with the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club as they give back so much to the Fort Myers Beach community and to all of the non-profits. We have been a recipient of their fundraising efforts in the past and now we are happy to be giving back to them.”
Event Organizer and Woman’s Club member Megan Allers said, “These one of a kind tables will be shared with our event guests who will have a chance to take one home to brighten their outdoor spaces for years to come! We are excited to partner with the FMB Art Association for this incredibly unique opportunity. This collaboration really highlights how our community nonprofits work together to lift each other up.”
The Art Association will also have a booth at the event and will be raffling off watercolor classes and several pieces of art. A portion of the proceeds will go back to the FMB Woman’s Club.
