After the parade, over 250 people showed up at the Woman’s Club on Sterling Avenue to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with friends. It was also a fundraiser for the club where over $3,000 was raised.

Woman’s Club President Monica Schmucker told Beach Talk Radio News the event was a tremendous success. “It was a great after-parade stop for everyone out there. Good music, fun photo booth, great food. We all had a good time, and we got to raise some money. I’m thankful to everyone who helped put this together and everyone who came out to support us. I look forward to the Woman’s Club doing this annually.”

Of course there was plenty of green beer and corned beef and cabbage.

Event organizer Roxana Roscoe (pictured right) told us “Over 250 green clad revelers enjoyed corned beef & cabbage from catered by Firebread as well as green beer served by Millennial Brewing and DJ Mike Yost entertained with lively Irish music. A great time was had by all and more than $3,000 was raised for the Woman’s Club.”
