On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian inflicted some serious damage to St. Raphael’s Church on Williams Drive. Like so many on Fort Myers Beach, it has been a painfully slow process to rebuild.
More than 3 years after the storm, Father Michael Rowe was able to stand before the congregation recently and preach the word once again from the church’s main building. That’s the good news.
Unfortunately Hurricane Ian destroyed and swept away the church pews and we’d like to help replace them. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the Church between today and their next service. It would be great to be able to deliver that check this Sunday and help them
