Lee County Supervisor of Elections Jenna Persons-Mulicka has announced that a Kids’ Ballot will be available exclusively during early voting for the Nov. 3 general election. It’s all in good fun and for learning of course.
The Kids’ Ballot gives children the opportunity to participate in the voting process while accompanying their families to the polls.
Modeled after the general election ballot, the Kids’ Ballot features mock races for federal, state, and local offices, with superheroes and popular movie characters as candidates. It also includes one ballot measure in which kids can vote for their favorite Florida wildlife.
“It’s never too early to learn about civic engagement,” says Supervisor Persons-Mulicka. “We want to give kids the opportunity to experience and learn about elections in a fun way. I can’t wait to take my son with me to vote early, and I encourage families to take their children, too.”
To vote a Kids’ Ballot, families can take their children to any of the 12 designated early voting sites located across Lee County.
Early voting runs from Oct. 19-31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Kids’ Ballot is for fun and educational purposes and is not part of the official Nov. 3 general election ballot. The results of the Kids’ Ballot will be posted on the Lee County Elections website on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The mission of the Lee County Supervisor of Elections is to deliver superior election services to the voters of Lee County.
